Inova - Unicamp Innovation Agency Annual Report 2023

The Inova – Unicamp Innovation Agency makes public its annual report of the activities and results in 2023, with data and cases of sucess on innovation and entrepreneurship at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp).

The main highlight of the year was the Unicamp’s record in active technology transfer contracts, with 212 total.

Among the milestones in 2023, the University, with the support of Inova Unicamp:

● Maintained the leadership in the ranking of patent applications filed by universities in the state of São Paulo, according to the INPI survey;

● Signed 77 Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) agreements with companies;

● Had more than R$ 237 million in resources raised in R&D&I agreements;

● Inaugurated a new research unit accredited by EMBRAPII, with a specific focus on renewable energy and fuels;

● Broke the record in it’s promoted events, with 47 meetings organized with more than 5 thousand registrants;

●Among others significant achievements
