Unicamp Alumni Companies Annual Report 2024

The 2024 Unicamp Alumni Companies Report is available for download. The Inova - Unicamp Innovation Agency, responsible for mapping the University’s alumni companies, makes public the main indicators with analyses and cases of success of businesses in the Unicamp entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Alumni companies are ventures founded by people who have or have had some kind of connection to the University. This connection may be in the capacity of a student, graduate, employee, or faculty member of Unicamp. Companies that were incubated or graduated at Unicamp Technology-based Business Incubator (Incamp) or those businesses known as academic spin-offs are also considered alumni companies.

Among this year’s milestones, Unicamp alumni companies:

● Employed 53,265 people, a record number ever registered

● Broke the annual revenue record, reaching R$28.1 billion reais

● Have a total of 1,588 alumni companies registered, of which 1,349 are active

● 49.8% of the alumni companies already have at least one ESG initiative in practice

● Among several other data and cases of success.
